Scott Harper is the Head coach for the GYSA United 2005 Boys team.  Scott is a native to Arizona, having grown up in the Tempe area.  He has played soccer his entire life, starting at the age of 5.  He has played many years with various clubs around the state, participating in many state cup leagues and tournaments. During high school, he played soccer with the Corona Del Sol High School team, before going on to play for the Scottsdale Community College soccer team.

Scott started coaching various youth camps after graduating from High School.  Scott then became the Head Junior Varsity coach, and Assistant varsity coach for McClintock High School.  Scott has also coached for GYSA as an Assistant Coach for GYSA UNITED 01 Boys.  Scott currently resides in Mesa with his wife and 3 children who are all involved in the game of soccer, and have been a part of GYSA for several years. Scott currently holds a USSF D coaching license.
